The Antcom video downloader is a popular, stable and time-tested download utility that really works. It is easy to install and configure to work in almost any browser, and it will automatically become active once it detects a download link on a particular web page. Users do not need any technical expertise in order to use this program, and it makes downloading files a lot easier than relying on the stock capabilities of a typical desktop browser.

Select the destination folder that you want the downloaded files to be stored, and the program will do the rest of the work. A small icon on the corner of the navigation area in the browser will become animated when a file is ready to be downloaded. Press it, and the file transfer should begin without any problems.

There were some issues related to the ability to capture and download links from certain popular video sharing sites, but the latest release seems to have fixed these problems. This utility also works well with websites that are not as well-known or popular. It also includes media player that supports FLV, and users can take advantage of this built-in capability to watch videos with a single click right after they have been downloaded.

The only serious drawback to this utility is that it does not accelerate downloads and other freeware programs. It makes getting downloads easy, but the transfers can take quite a bit of time if they involve large files. Sometimes the software will not be able to resume a download if it becomes interrupted as well, but this is not always the case.

The good news is that this program has a long history of being stable and user-friendly. The bad news is that other programs may get the job done more quickly. This is ideal for anyone who wants a simple tool that will enable downloads from many video sharing websites, but don't expect too much in terms of features or options. This is a free program after all, and we usually get what we pay for.
